Small cities will be most severely affected.  The fact that AI technology uses neural networks which travel at the speed of light, means they can preform tasks much faster than a human could. The danger here is that there will be nothing left for a human to preform as they will never be able to think at the speed of light. The affects of mass unemployment on society caused by artificial intelligence are not well understood. What sort of society will we have if few work? How will our finite resources be distributed to people if nobody works? There is a fear that only the people who make and control the AI systems will have work and therefore are the only ones who are able to earn money from their work.
